Possible to get braces in another country then come to another country for treatment?

i'm going to the philippines for the summer and will be getting braces. i'm there for about 2 months and will be coming back to illinois for the remainder of my time with braces. is it possible that i can get treatment here? like tightening it and having it removed? i called sears dental and asked if i can continue my treatment here and they said that i would still have to make the full payment of like 4,000 dollars because they would have to change the brackets to the ones they have. i'm thinking its their way of making money, but they said it's what all orthodontics do. is this true? is it possible for me to get treatment here when i already have braces? if so, how much will it cost me? is there an orthodontic that won't make me change my brackets and pay for the full price?

yeah usualy Dentista wont work on other Dr. braces and if they do they want the full amount.....Unless you go to a phiippine Dr. in the states they might help you

cause you need to see a Dr every 2-4 weeks to change elastics and wires or just for a check or try a dental school.
Reply:IF YOU HAVE THE BRACES HERE IN THE USA ANY AMERICAN ORTHODONTIST FROM 'SEARS' WILL BE GLAD TO DO YOUR CASE.
Reply:The amount you would pay depends on the type of bands that are placed on your teeth and the quality of the records that you are able to bring into the practice upon your return.
