Orthodontics?
Go to a dentist and find out if your back tooth hurts from overcrowding or from a cavity. If the back tooth is a wisdom tooth, it can be pulled out. But if it's a chewing tooth, and if cavities are not a source of pain, then maybe the position of the tooth is causing you pain, meaning that you may want to consider going to an orthodontist to correct this. If there is pain then something is definitely wrong, so even if you don't go to the orthodontist, you should definitely go to a dentist. Sometimes ignoring a small cavity can lead to you needing to get a root canal, a crown,or even tooth decay, so early intervention is a must. Your dentist will be able to tell you if you need to see the orthodontist, so ask for his opinion.
Reply:if there is a problem like that and you do decide to get braces, they will probably tell you that you should get the tooth pulled anyway. then you can get braces to straighten the rest of them out
Reply:Did your dentist suggest braces? If so, consider the options.

Braces aren't that bad anyways! If you don't like the metal, try this brand called InvisAlign. They are clear plastic trays that align your teeth, you take them out to eat, shower and swim. Talk to your dentist and I hope your teeth feel better sooN!!
Reply:I went to the dentist and he said i needed to go to an orthodontist. I went to the orthodontist and he said i needed fixed braces which i dont mind because my teeth are overcrowded . The dentist will refer you to the orthodontist if they think you need braces.
Reply:First, see the dentist about the tooth that hurts. It could be a cavity. They may not remove it if it's just a cavity but fill it instead. Then see if you're a good candidate for braces. Good luck!
