tina i saw your question about the adhesive left on the teeth after you removed you and your daughters braces can you tell me how you did it PLEASE
Does anyone know how to remove braces without going to the orthodontics?
I used a Dewalt Girner drill andc rinsed with Cognac/
Reply:I would never advice doing that. You could damage your teeth. Since you spend so much money on braces, why not let them remove the braces?
Makes sense to me!
Reply:Whaaaat???...After alllll that work you are going to do it yourself???...That doesn't sound like the best plan of action to me!
Reply:Why can't you have your orthodontist do it? Even if your treatment isn't complete, if you want them off you can sign a waiver stating that you are aware your treatment isn't complete and you will not hold your orthodontist responsible for your decision to terminate treatment.
Of course, if you are under 18, it's your parents decision.
Reply:i would definatly go to the dentist because if you have had all that work done removing them your self could ruin all that work
i dont understand why you dont want to go to the orthodontist
if it is a spacific orthodontist that you dont like then change it.
Reply:I'm a dentist.
Don't even try it. Go to your orthodontist and have them removed properly.
Reply:you shouldn't take your braces off yourself. first of all, you paid all that money to make your teeth perfect, then you chip them and rip your teeth out trying to get them off, so your teeth will still look bad. second, they're cemented to your teeth, so good luck with that!
