Question for those who has finish to wear braces or for orthodontics dentist!?

My orthodontic dentist made me wear elastics and I had worn them for 2 months but he said for several months, but I dont have huge gaps between my teeth. He made me wear Class II Elastics: an elastic running from the upper front teeth to the lower back teeth to be more specific, in how many months do you think I will have to wear those, and how many months did you worn them?

If your talking about the rubber bands you have to contect from top braces to bottom, yes I had those. I had to wear them for several months, to correct an overbite. I also had to wear them because a few of my adult teeth didn't come in and my dentist was trying to line my teeth as straight as possible. It wasn't for gaps. But I am sure they are used for different reasons. Ask your dentist why you have to wear them. Your dentist will answer any question you have!
Reply:the docs says like this only .it will take a period of 1 year to complete the course or else more.i $my colleagues had it nearly for 2 yrs .continue the course till docs advice or else again u will get gaps after 2 yrs.the same case is with me $my cousins
Reply:I get my elastics on my next appointment,but I'd say, people's mouths are different, maybe yours reacted quickly to the first elastics.


I've had my braces since April and people are saying they can see my teeth straightening up already.


I also go bite turbos my first appointment in April (they stop my top teeth from hitting my bottom brackets) and they said I would get them off the first appointment back.


Well my mouth hadn't moved enough so I'm probably getting them off this next time.
