Orthodontics/Gums changing shape and postions?

I have had braces for 6months and there ok I guess but I Have a problem and Im worried. My teeth are moving like there suppose to but my gums are changing shapes and positions and all..... HELP

Even though it is very time consuming, you may want to try flossing everyday if you can. They may be getting inflamed and puffy because food is getting caught between brackets. Also, talk to your DDS about an oral rinse called Periodex if he thinks it is a periodontal problem.
