How much would orthodontics cost (generally) for just the upper teeth?

...and are "clear" braces the same price as the metal ones. Invisalign is a little more expensive, right?

I'm not sure the price in your area as I live in Australia and the fees vary from place to place. The thing with braces is that they can be used on only one arch (either top or bottom) but this means the orthodontist has no control over your bite. Some orthodontists wont do one arch only and some will. Just depends on their views. The place I worked at did clear (ceramic) braces for a few hundred dollars more. Not all places to invisaline but it is an option depending on how bad your teeth are because it has its limits too. Hope this helps a tiny bit! :)
Reply:I have perfect teeth on the top and I have a slight crook tooth on the bottom (its turned a little bit). Anyway, I wnet to a couple of dentist and the all wanted to put braces on the top as well and there is no need for it at all I told my regular dentist about it and he told me not to do it. And I went and saw 3 different orthodontis and the all wanted to do braces on top and bottom. And since then I have changed my regular dentist and the dentist I have now actually that I had, had braces on the top, because they are perfect. The invisalign are a little more cuase I looked in to doing that and my destist told me not to touch my teeth. I'm in alabama and the cost here was about $3,000-4,500. and that was about 3 or 4 years ago!!!

Hope this helps good luck!!!
Reply:The Braces usually cost around $3500-$5000, without any insurance or dental plan.

But with this plan it costs $2200 (for age 19 and over)

But before you decide, go under 'provider search' and check if there are dentists in your area and then call them to check if they take this Plan, If they do, go ahead and get the Plan. It should save you thousands.

Good luck
