What is theDifference between overjet and overbite in orthodontics? And Which is more worse on facial profile?

Overjet measures the HORIZONTAL difference between the front biting edge of your upper incisors vs. that of the lower incisors when your teeth are in their normal bite position (when all your teeth are biting together, what we call "maximum intercuspation").

Overbite measures the VERTICAL overlap between the front biting edge of your upper incisors vs. that of the lower incisors when your teeth are in their normal bite position.

Overbite and overjet in themselves is only a small part of facial appearance, so on their own one can't really say what is "more worse on facial profile."

Hope this helps!
