My ins. doesn't cover adult orthodontics. Could it be an exception if my small overbite causes jaw popping

Could it be billed as medical if I got braces to correct my bite? It causes discomfort...esp. when eating certain things.

Reply:I don't know what the answer is to your question, but if you can't get your insurer to cover orthodontics, you might want to buy a discount dental plan (around $100/year) that gives you a substantial discount on all dental procedures. Go to http://www.lowpriceddentalplans.com to see which plans are available for your zip code and see how much you can save.
