Can a "open bite" be treated without orthodontics?

Seems everyone is different, some need braces, others need night shields and some need surgery. Best of Luck

Can a "open bite" be treated without orthodontics?
i had an open bite, but different than most. Instead of my my top teeth in the front not touching the bottom, They were the only ones that touched. On both sides of my jaw, my top teeth (all my molars) didn't touch the bottoms. So i couldn't chew properly unless i chewed with my front teeth.

Not only did I have braces, I had to have surgery to fix my problem.

I would say you need orthodontics
Reply:discuss this with your dentist.
