Books on orthodontics?

I'm doing a project, and I need info about the process of becoming an orthodontist and other basic info. Is there a book that includes this info? Please give title and author. Thanks

Books on orthodontics?
Hi David,

To become an orthodontist in the United States and Canada, you will need to go to college first, fulfill your pre-dental course requirements, take your DAT exam, and apply to dental school.

Once you are in dental school, you will go through the process of applying and matching into an Orthodontics post-graduate residency program during your third year. After finishing dental school, if you matched into an ortho program you will go there for additional training. Once you finish the ortho post-grad program, you are an orthodontist.

The American Dental Association has a mentoring program designed for students like you to help you get exposure to the profession. Lots of great info at their website which I think you will find helpful: http://www.ada.org/public/careers/beaden...

Good luck!
