College for orthodontics?

How many years of college does it require?

College for orthodontics?
you would need to go 4 years of undergrad, and then dentistry school after that.
Reply:I think it requires the same for any doctor. 4 years of college, 4 years of medical school, residency, internship, etc.
Reply:It's usually 4 for undergrad then you have to go to dental school which is another 4. as for specializing in orthodontics, only a few students get chosen to move on for this. You have to work really hard and get good grades because it's really competitive and only a few students from your graduating class in dental school get selected.
Reply:First you have to get a bachelors degree ( major in something that is in the science field such as biology, chemistry, physics etc, or you can do a major you'd like) and then you have to go to dental school to get DDS and then you go to specialize in orthodontics. So I guess 8-10 years total.
